OPTICAL BRIGHTENER FOR TEXTILE

OPTICAL BRIGHTENER is whitening agent for Textile use. Natural fiber generally absorb more light in the blue region of the visible spectrum than in others because of impurities as natural pigments they contain. As a result, natural fiber on an unwanted, yellowish cast. In the case of synthetic fibers the effect is not so pronounced. Whiteness in these subtrates can be improved by the action of products named optical brighteners, fluorescent brightening agents or fluorescent whitening agents (FWA), by intensifying the whiteness level or the colour of the material.

Sinarwhite used in textile fibers to increase brigteness and whiteness becauseof its ability to absorb the invisible UV radiation between 300 and 400 nm, and emit it in the bluish part of the visible spectrum (400-800 nm) It increases the reflectivity of textile fibers in the wavelength of visible blue light, giving fibers a blue tone that appears whiter to human eye.
